I get my produce from my local farmer’s market, but Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods are great options for organic produce if you don’t have time to shop.
Frozen Raspberries
There’s nothing wrong with frozen produce – make sure it’s organic and contains just the fruit (no added sugars or preservatives). Even generic grocery store brands should have purely frozen fruit.
You can get organic frozen raspberries for $4 from Whole Foods’ 365 brand or Amazon Fresh.
Hemp Seeds
Hemp seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fats, an essential nutrient that provides anti-inflammatory benefits. They also provide proteins and amino acids that support strong hair, nails, muscles, and skin.

Culinary Coconut Milk

Grapefruit Skinny Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 grapefruit medium or small; peeled and white pith removed
- 1/2 banana frozen*
- 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
- 1/3 cup coconut milk (can)
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup ice
- 3 Tbsp. hemp seeds
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until a uniform thick and creamy consistency is reached. If you’d prefer a thinner smoothie, you can add a little more water as needed, about a tablespoon or two at a time.
