  • Heat a medium-sized pot over medium heat. Add the rice, water and mushrooms. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer until all the water is absorbed (about 30 minutes).
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Recipe Notes

You can adapt this recipe for any type of mushrooms and any type of rice. Simply add an extra ¼-½ cup of water than you normally would, and note different cooking times for different varieties of rice.
