Heat a medium-sized pot over medium heat. Add the rice, water and mushrooms. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer until all the water is absorbed (about 30 minutes).
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Recipe Notes
You can adapt this recipe for any type of mushrooms and any type of rice. Simply add an extra ¼-½ cup of water than you normally would, and note different cooking times for different varieties of rice.
