  • ½ tsp. matcha powder
  • 2 Tbsp hot water
  • water cold or room temp
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla (optional)
  • ice cubes
  • plant-based milk


  • Add matcha powder to a cup. Pour in 2 tablespoons of hot water and whisk vigorously with a matcha whisk or fork for 30-60 seconds. Then pour in cool water (and vanilla if using) and whisk again.
  • Seperately, fill a tall glass with ice. Add the matcha tea from step one, then add your milk of choice.
